The only department they have not produced quality player in is another AM (Cassano doesn't count becaue he is mischievous) and a proper striker. The only reason you are under this illusion is because the Italian National team is primirly predominated by older players who command the respect of the younger generation. Once a player is established in the national team, there is nothing a youngster can do to take it away from him until they retire.
This has been always Italia's way and will continue forever. With 4 World Cups in the bag, twice runners up, 1 semi finals, 1 European Championship, and runners up, their strategy isn't exactly failing.
A decade in International football isn't long. Besides Germany, Holland and Spain, no other country in Europe has produced quality a little more consistently yet they haven't been successful for how long (I am not forgetting Spain's Euro win)?
France is the only nation that has topped Italy in producing good successful teams and even they haven't produced anything worthwhile since Zidane's crew.
Totally wrong here Raed u should watch more man , France current generation with a proper manager would be upthere with Spain & co as strong favorites
