Jack Rodwell is a mini beast when he is injury free. Unfortunately he signed for City.. He wont get as much playing time he need to develop.

being black myself I shake my head when they are called black, because no black guy I know has a white mum/dad. Also to me obama is not the first black pres either, but the first mix its an american spin and the world took it and lapped it up

Ok guys I'm sorry for bringing up Jack's ethnicity which is obviously irrelevant - honestly didn't know he was mixed race though. Needs to push on next season, definitely a better option in the middle than Javi Garcia and Barry's getting on a bit now. Would like him at Spurs alongside Dembele.

No doubt - but so is Toure, Schweinsteiger, Modric, Xavi etc etc...in fact, a lot of CMs are.

I am comparing him to players closer to his age, he was decent youngster for Everton but the hype around him was unjustified and should have stayed in Everton

Hindsight - We all wish we could use it when it would actually be useful.

Rodwell probably thought he could make an impact at city and may have got his chances had he not suffered so badly with injuries.
