Jack Wilshere

No there is no need as Wilshere is a cut above the ones mentioned here. When Thiago makes it, he will be better than Wilshere but so far his games have been ranging between very good and bad.

oz187, Thiago hasn't replaced Xavi and Iniesta well, rather he does well for his age and experience. Just because Wilshere is English and is an Arsenal player doesn't mean he isn't better than what is in La Masia/first team. His technique, hustle, passing, and tackling are splendid and all he has to do now is continue to play. Iniesta wasn't half what Wilshere is now at the same age, but exploded when he was 24. If Wilshere isn't surrounded by failures and isn't managed by a historic coach, he'd be up for Ballon d'Or in 1-2 years time.

IMO thiago at his best has been better than Wilshere at his best. Right now Wilshere is overrated but does have a lot of potential. In the international sphere thiago is very underrated, many people still have no idea who he is.

So?
As it relates to the ballon d'or part stop talking crap, if he move to bar a today he couldn't come close to winning it in two years

Dude's a good player and will be one of the better players of his generation, but his talent level isn't anything special

Just because you say I talk crap doesn't mean it is crap. No, it isn't anything special of course because you sir decided it isn't except you do not have a single point to back you up. But your bias towards La Masia players is getting in the way, to the point where you had a brain fart and named a player who hasn't played for the first team, one who looked slow and sluggish and a third fringe player who oozes talent but no where near as experienced.

Do yourself a favor and stop embarrassing yourself.

Wilshere is over hyped, a fault not of his own and certainly a tag that does not take anything away from him. Being out for so long has its toll but by next year you will see, if the Frenchman does not drive him nuts he will excel and reach far.

What match was Thiago at his best to compare him with Wilshere's best?

Touchy much, I was joking about Roberto and sampler as my second post should have made clear

But you are still talking total crap re: the golden ball he will never come close, never. His talent is nothing special, special players win the golden ball, except when their is a world cup that his.

He is a good talent kind of in the cesc bracket of talent

Top posts, Raed.

Crazy how some people on here can let their bias get to the . If Wilshere was a Spanish and a La Masia graduate he'd be praised to the heavens on here. He's a terrific player with bags of potential and if you can't see that you're blind.

I'd love to know what your definition of "special talent" is, because if Wilshere's not a special talent to you, neither are Thiago, Gotze, Isco, Neymar, etc

Yep exceptional but not special, football as seen quite a few villa's in its time much as I love him, not many Ibra, though I would take villa over him every time.

Problem with you guys is your standards are too low see a player but together some good games you are all over him, by standards are different, which is why I tent to be right when I pick them.

A player needs to have a certain pause in his game to be special to create time and space where there is none, wilshere does not have this. He is a cesc and not a iniesta

By talent I mean upcoming talent, not established players in/past their prime. Why would you bring up Messi, Ronaldo etc now when he's being compared to players in his age group? Of course he's not going to be on Iniesta's level now, he's 21. Does he have the potential to reach that sort of level? Absolutely.

I'm not referring to any particular games, although if I had to choose thiagos best game it would be the under 21 European final in 2011 ( granted its underage ) Of course if I had to choose a player to play in a CL final tomorrow it would be Wilshere as thiago simply doesn't have the experience, but the flashes of brilliance he has displayed up until now have been more impressive than what I've seen of Wilshere ( that's what I meant be both at their best ). Anyways it's frivolous discussing the merits of 2 young players who could totally fail to live up to their expectations although I have great belief that both will turn out to be world class.

Well I did say messi and iniesta where special before and immediately when they burst on the scene, i used them because it clearer to make the contrast between special and not special with mature players for those that are a bit slow.

But the only special talent I see i s reus, with neymar, gotze, thiago coming close
