I think you miss understand my post. i did not claim arsenal are the biggest team in england, more like like dortmound the are not the biggest in the respective leagues. and i don't know what gotze being injuered last season has to do with anything? i was stating that he has been injured for so long and has comeback without a real dip in form seeing that he was so young. And did you not watch the match at they stadium when we were 1-0 up then lost 2-1 he was hasseling, winning important tackles and starting attacks. Some fans memories are so short

Basically what I was saying was that you criticized Götze for playing for a small club when in fact his team has done more than Arsenal during the last years, and reserved special praise for Wilshere for coming back from injury when Götze did the same thing.

For the game I agree that he did well but not motm well

Bundesliga is easy compared to the EPL. Infact, we had Dortmund in the group stages last season and we got 4 points off them.

As for Wilshere, in my opinion he's better than Gotze and Neymar. Others will have theirs, but it's mine.

You can't compare a midfielder to a striker and Wilshere to Neymar. Also I'd definitely have Gotze over any young player in the world let alone Wilshere. For me Gotze is the best young player in the world.

Pep does not bs when he said they are many of his technical capacity in many youth academies.

That's not what he said. He said:

"Wilshere is a top player. He is an excellent player, not just Arsenal, but also for the national team. [But] he is lucky because we have many players in the second team like him but he plays because there is no pressure at his club to win titles."

The implication being that there are load of players of his level in Barca's B team, and the only reason he plays is because Arsenal are not competitive. It was just mind games before the second leg.

Wilshere is one of the very few guys where the hype is justified.

Played outstanding against Bayern Munich, too bad he has a loser of a coach.

I didn't think he was that great against Bayern by his standards, but at least he played like it mattered and showed a bit of passion.

That conjecture is baseless. Pep has no history of downplaying a player for any reason especially that of 'mind games' ever before. And I was aware of the exact quote and I did take liberty to add my opinion that there are better players all over of the same age. What I have never said since his debut was that he was bad or mediocre. He is very good as he has attributes of a great competitor and is pretty good technique wise.

Many academies have super talented kids with world class potential. Very few of them actually realize it, so the effort and experience you mentioned is absolutely vital. That mentality and determination is what separates someone like Messi from Bojan. And when Pep said that about Wilshere, he was barely 19. Back then, J-Dos Santos, Deulofeu, etc could be classified as "bigger talents" to a lot of cules. Most Barca fans will probably say that Sergi Samper will be better than Wilshere.

The technical abilities are all there, but mentality added on top of that is an extremely rare thing. The vast majority of technically talented wiz-kids end up like Quaresma

He wasn't outstanding against Bayern because none of the team was, but he was outstanding against Barcelona first leg :)

Many players like him as in with similar characteristics (see: Thiago, JDS, possibly Sergi Roberto, Rafinha), not necessarily as good, and that he should be happy because he gets to play as Arsenal lack a competitive nature.

It's a mixture of reserve, pre-season, England U21 and first team footage. He's only scored 5 goals for the first team. He's played mostly as a holding player though.
