Well they can just wait for Atletico to give in, or if they don't just sell him for the 30M, Porto has all the cards in their hands.

They buy popular players. Douglas isn't even popular at Barcelona lol. Their league is like the MLS of Asia.

Hmm.. Adriano is popular(among the medical team at least)

Perhaps we could ship him off there for 10m

If that's true, Atletico still made a good business for a 29-year old overpriced flop. They bought him for €35 million and sold for €45 million. It was crazy for Atletico for buying him at an expensive price when he's alreay 29 but wow, that's 10 million profit.

But anyway, where the fuck are Chinese clubs getting all this money all of a sudden?

First Ramires, then Gervinho and now Jackson?

Do you know more about what's going on Luftstalag14?

It is certainly crazy. If you look at the top transfers made in this winter transfer window in terms of sheer $ the highest ones were mostly acquired by C-League (Chinese Super League and League One) clubs. Brazilian players glore, some of who are even current or former Brazil NT players.

Where does the money come from? Most Chinese clubs are owned by enterprises/companies but I am not really clear as to what exactly they are as I am not following C-League that much. I know a few companies are real estate companies (for example the one that owns Guangzhou Evergrande). I have no idea where they got all the money from. I guess some of them have been riding high and cashing in on our relatively booming economy (but has been making a down turn lately).

I fear a bubble is in the making and will burst one day. I hope I am wrong.
