Why no thread on this kid so far? 17 years old and playing regularly for Bayern (one of the world's most elite clubs), for a 17 year old kid to be doing that you must have something about you.

German born, but declared for England (could still switch back to Germany) his talent looks amazing.

Can play as 8, 10 and winger
Flick tries to give him match time in about every match.
What I like about him is that he is a hard worker in his match time, too - even defensively. He is not ball watching after ball losses like his friend Bellingham at Dortmund.

The greatest argument against Coutinho. "Coutinho needed this, or that, or this, or that to do well at Bayern."

Jamalpha steps in and just performs LOL.

This kid looks great. Just a training match in the Pokal today and an awful keeper in the opposing goal but his composure around the box and eye for goal is beyond his years. Superstar in the making.

Yeah I think we could regret losing this guy.

But it is a special story that he already is playing for Bayern and Germany.

He came to Bayern in 2019 for the U17 team. Played some matches there and was promoted to U19 by winter. Then there was Covid and youth football was brought to a halt in Germany. And living in Munich etc. he was training with the U23 (who played in third league then) and the professionals. The U23 had their established squad so he only got minutes there - so he filled up the professional squad sometimes - additionally in the CL final tournament. He only played 2 minutes in that season in the Bundesliga - but Flick and Gerland let him stay with the professionals in the last season. And he got his chances - had luck because often one or two of the wingers were injured and sometimes another midfielder was needed, too - but he looked great and made some valuable goals. As he could not play for the U23 of Germany in their tournament he made the way directly to the first team and got nominated for the Euros, too.

It is not just the abilities - Bambi as he is called by his teammates and now the media, too - has a great mentality on and off the pitch.

England's loss not signing up this talent. So, so good.

England and France won't be starving for talent anytime soon. Their football cages with the addition of a substantive poor demographic and their football pyramids makes it a breeding for technical footballers.
