It makes perfect sense when the sole root of all problems we had with our goalies for the past 2 years is that we signed two competitive and quality players at the same time who both wanted and deserved a bigger amount of matches than they could get because the other player was in the same position. Tell me then, what's the point of weakening our squad by selling Bravo if the club doesn't commit to the choice they've made (so, take a chance with ter Stegen as our first choise for the next 10 years over Bravo and stop hindering the fulfilment of his potential) but instead brings in a Dutchman who is only 3 years older than MAtS and has no intention of being benchwarmer? We're right back to square one, in for another few stressful seasons full of tension over the division of playing time between the goalies - so same problems, only with lesser quality this time. Bravo/MAtS were at least equal competitors, Cillessen is no match for either and if he gets CdR I'll be annoyed as hell. Stop with the damn goalie rotations already! Unless the German loses a foot and at least four fingers, I don't wanna see Masip or this guy anywhere near the pitch.
I never understood we had a "problem". We had 2 great goalkeepers in our squad, i wouldnt call it a problem. Now we once again have 2 great goalkeepers, how is that a problem? Its called squad depth and i seriously dont understand why everyone just completely forgets how bad Bravos signing was treated here and they all fall into same thing again. Cillessen hasnt even played for us and there are people who are saying how bad it is. All Dutch league experts suddenly? Who will know how he will fit into our system. I think he was very good in Dutch national team in that WC. Only competition ive seen him. Also im pretty sure our scouts are not complete idiots and they wouldnt spend that money on a total garbage player.

I guess his first two games will be in CDR against some Segunda B team. And if we win first 4 games in CL and already guarantee us 1st place he could also play in both last games in CL group stages. Or at least the last one. Then we'll see in January when most CDR games are played how he'll do.

Oh God damn I think it is him. First ever goalie to be subbed 120th min. We got the worst ever penalty saving goalie.
