that assist doe....
It's a shame La Furia is not active anymore. Back in the Valdes days I was told how nearly impossible it would be for the Barca style to find a new goalkeeper. Yet we pulled out 3/3 who were/are great for us: Bravo, ter Stegen, even Cillessen.
Jasper Cillessen is happy at Barcelona. He loves the city, he has acclimatised perfectly and he likes the club. He is not having as big a role as he'd like, but his priority is to stay at Barca. The club are happy with his performance and he has proven to be totally reliable when used in place of Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Cillessen has won the two Copa del Rey finals he has started in.
Cillessen and his family are very happy in Barcelona. Jasper is very close to his brother - he's a family guy, and has found stability in the Catalan capital. Despite offers coming in for him including one from a top European side, the Dutchman wants to stay at Barca, Sport has learned.
For the club that's magnificent news. The player has brought a property in the city, showing his intentions.
Cillessen is the best backup keeper in europe IMO and probably one of if not the best backup Goalkeeper we have had in terms of pure ability.
Pinto served us well but there's no contest between the two in terms of pure ability.
For his own sake be needs do leave
We rely very much on Ter Stegen to get us the good results during the season. Therefore we are also quite vulnerable if he gets injured and we don't have a backup who can top-perform.
We should try to keep him as much as we possibly can, unless he wants to leave, and even then we should only accept PL-kind of money for him.
