Nope not based on this seasons form anyway, Welbeck has been a fair bit better then him which is saying aliot because i love hernandez, but Welbeck just adds more to our options up top then Hernandez, who uif he's not getting decent service is more or less a passenger.Sooo what do you guys think? Does he deserve to start over Welbeck? He actually said he doesn't mind coming in as a "super sub"

Still a great player though, and a great option to have off the bench.
Yeaaa injuries haven't really been helping a lot.. Haven't seen welbeck too much either (heard good stuff about him though) since I only watch united when Hernandez plays, which he hasn't as much as last season, but hey a little competition is healthy for everybody right? Brings out the best in everyone!

Couldnt catch the game, but how he do?
not well.
one lovely turn & shot set-up the opening goal for United (rebound) but that was basically the end of his positive contribution.
he worked hard & made nice runs but he didn't seem to have confidence in his shot and his first-touch was way off; he fucked up three 1v1's by failing to control very controllable passes. it wasn't nice to see.
right now he's best suited to being a supersub. especially in a game like this.
