Jean-Clair Todibo

Not going to lie, I would be happy if we managed to replace him with only Konate.

Why? Todibo didn't play well today? I see that he went on to sub off Kabak and Schalke conceded two goals after he came on? Was he responsible for those two goals conceded?

What happened to Konate by the way?

I still don't believe they'll buy him.

also, what's wrong with Nubel?

Not watching the game, so don't know what you mean, but with Nubel you should know he's already agreed a summer transfer to Bayern for free once his contract expires this summer, so that could be the cause for him not being fully committed to S04 anymore.

Not a wise move for Nuebel at all, since he won't be getting many minutes next season at Bayern as Neuer would want to play as many games as possible.

He is just a baller, such a talented modern defender. He was very good for Schalke vs Bayern. Still needs to improve his man marking, he has the tendency to lose track of his opponent. He was needs to work on his left foot.

#TeamTodibo from the start.

Ridiculous that Umtiti (who sacrificed his career) was allowed to stay while Todibo was sent on loan with a purchase option.

Miserable business from Abidal once again.

Abidal is our worst sporting director ever. He is destroying his legacy at Barca. He is the Barto of sporting directors, just the worst.

Not to defend Abidal but isn't he the one who brought Todibo in in the first place ?

The way i see Todibo transfer was to gauge his level and if, not deemed good enough, make easy money out of him. We can say what we want but if Todibo is sold for 20 M, it is 19 M won for Barça for doing nothing.

Now, you could say Todibo is promising but Barça is maybe searching for a player ready to step up now. Upamecano has more experience, is still young and was said to be targeted by Barça.

Finally, Umtiti isn't allowed to stay. He has another status compared to Todibo but also a way bigger contract. How do you plan to make him leave if he doesn't want to ? Your only hope is a PL club. They are the only ones able to pay huge wages outside of the top clubs which won't be interested in Umtiti.

He played well but i still don't think Schalke will necessarily buy him even if he keeps this up.

With how things are going for them at the moment they will miss CL for sure and possibly EL as well and 25M is quite a lot of money. Maybe if they get a big sale themselves before the deadli for the buy option but otherwise i'm not sure if they want/can to invest that much.

25M is still too low tough, idk what they were thinking when making that deal. To me that looks like they actually want to sell him to get cash for the summer and don't really believe he can make it at Barca.
