Makes me feel sick to my stomach that we sold Halilovic for 5m who is literally 10x the player Jese is. This board is dreadful.

Ok now you're trolling. Jese was pretty decent before the ACL injury and scored against top teams in La Lige. Halilovic is and was a nobody.

When you read a player like him going for that sort of money it does make you think that there is money laundering in football

From what I've seen of him through the years, the only reason he havn't been playing more, when fit, is that he is no galactico - the potential was always there.
I don't even think 25M. € is ridiculous (but for 1 year left, maybe) - he could still turn out very good, IMO. I would rather pay 25 M for him than 50 M for Morata.

If he was a nobody then why did most people rate him as one of the best young players in Europe? He was more talented than Jese so no I'm not trolling just because you don't share my opinion.

He might be more talented, but Jese is far more proved than Halilovic as this point so the latter is definitely not 10x the player or even a better player right now.

Jese before his injury performed at a higher level than Halilovic did in his debut season in La Liga.

That said, 25m is still OTT.

I heard RM put a clause in his contract with PSG that blocks any possible future transfer by PSG to our club, They do these clauses with all their departing players.
My question is, How does FIFA and UEFA allow such disgraceful behaviors, Allowing ex clubs to control the future of players even when there is no longer a contract between them, How is this much different than putting a clause that disallows a loaned player to play against his parent club, I remember Chelsea tried to pull such a stunt with courtois while he was at AM, And UEFA or FIFA, I can't remember exactly, Where very harsh in their response, And clearly warned them of attempting such behaviors again in the future, But how come they're silent about this.
These no-transfer clauses are even worse, Because in the 'loaned' player case, The parent club can at least argue that the player is still under active contract with them, But in this case, There is nothing connecting him to his ex-club whatsoever, Apart from a few memories and a section on wikipedia, They should put a stop to this, It's unfair to the players, They should have complete freedom to decide their future.

I don't think PSG can't sell him to Barcelona if they and the player want to, or anyway, they can just sell him to a Girona or Hoffenheim for a day and then they sell him to Barcelona for a small commission.

There are not any clauses prohibiting PSG from selling him to us, but rather clauses that includes Real Madrid getting something like 80% of the transfer fee(just a random example) if they sell him to any Spanish club. I doubt Real Madrid explicitly pens down FC Barcelona, but Spanish clubs instead.

Obviously that's meant to serve as a deterrent to sell to us only as they would waive their rights if PSG were to sell to another Spanish club, but that's likely how it is. PSG can still sell him to us, but they won't as they'll likely lose most of the transfer fee to Madrid.

What PSG or any other team can do is sell the player to a team that then loans the player to us, with a buy option. Now that's something Madrid can do nothing about and likely will burn them.

25m for a player like Jese( Real benchwarmer) in this day and age in football seems to be the norm unfortunately. We have guys like Higuain going for 90m+. That should tell you how shit the market has gone.
