Excuse me 824m spent on transfers in 3 seasons for Bartomeu. We should send Bartomeu on a small boat out in the Atlantic ocean and have Fort paddling in.

Victor Font is a nobody compared to the great Joan Laporta

President who has helmed multiple CLs and had a role in some of the best sides in history

Vs.

A no charisma corporate Schmuck

It’s only fitting that the club that plays the most attacking and entertaining brand of football across history has a president of that same qualities

No amount of jumping jacks and cartwheeling will convince me that Font or Barto can even shine Don Aporta’s shoes
So you admit that Flick is more suited to Barca than Xavi?

His top level as manager is way higher than xavi’s but that stretch in Dec was worse than anything Xavi showed either.

Not sure where to pin him. Will decide at end of season.

Love his brand of football tho, when he’s not playing suicidal.

Of course Font is happy with the Supercopa win. Also he said previously that LFP is our common enemy, Laporta comes second. I mean who burn their own house to remove the mayor?

I'm not impressed by Font, he's been too much present in the media. That's what populists do in politics, to have constant media exposure to win support. Facts are - what happened last week? When things were on the edge, Font couldn't gather majority of socios behind him to "overthrow" Laporta at his lowest point of approval. End of story.

Victor Font talking about the finances as if he didn't want to pay millions for an Eric Garcia who had 6 months left on his contract.

Laporta isn't perfect but he's been around the club for decades and has been navigating the club I think the best anyone can hope for.

Font has a successful background in business but for a club like our stature, he's largely unproven to lead the club through the thick of it effectively.

Granted things you have to start somewhere, but voters clearly knew Laporta has the experience to lead the club again like he did previously and the likes of Font had no chance at it.

Anyone ever followed Laporta's political career? What did he fight for? His arguments? I think he leans left, that true?
It was short lived. From 2010 to 2012-13, his main agenda being Catalan independence. He's centre-right, I believe, but it's unknown as his main agenda has been independence throughout.
