Since he arrived this is obviously a different team, with each season we kept getting better and by now we kicked out all the amigos and made a wonderful team with homegrown boys and some experienced players

Don't give a fuck if it's luck or coincidence or whatever, we need lucky bastards in charge if that is true

Some fans can't properly value that we're putting up this season while foreiting our home ground advantage.

Before Laporta we were a total mess. Now we're not only building a new impressive arena, but also have in our team what can be the fundamental football star of this new generation of football consumers, while also competing for everything late in the season.

You have a massive power surge in everything. Finances gonna rise back soon as the stadium is finished, the brand value is back to its best, stars in the making everywhere in the team, sponsorships... this is what a golden cycle looks like in its early phase.

Fans will flock from all over the world to see Lamine Yamal and the rest of our young prodigies in 2-3 years from now. And it's all Made in FC Barcelona. Not bought by some sheik.

Laporta is quite the character. Sensible approach for a more normal, but still decent club president, would be to sacrifice some to get others done. Bite as much as you can chew sort of in a more humble manner. Not this guy.

This guy picked his best suits, belly forward, with all the jokes, every trick in the book to get this big ship moving forward on all fronts no matter what. Go big or go home. He stepped in the office with this attitude from the first day.

Goes through all the shit vs Tebas, takes on La Liga and Spanish Federation rules in public scandals, exploiting all legal loopholes, with so many waiting around the corner to get back at him.

Would all be nothing if Flick didn't turn things around. In terms of positivity towards future and immense improvement in team-play.

We would also be looking at Camp Nou delays and Olmo saga in a way more negative light.

Team performances this season changed everything.

𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 & 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋: The CSD have ruled against giving La Liga a precautionary measure in the Olmo - Pau Víctor case, meaning both of them can play normally until the end of the season. Another HUGE setback for the Javier Tebas led organization!

When discussions are made as to who is the most influential man in the history of FC Barcelona, it is only a matter of time before Don Laporta is added to the reckoning, alongside the usual candidates of Messi, Xavi, Pep, Cruyff etc.

Another treble and you could argue he is the most influential them all. :stv172:
Laporta is the greatest president this club has ever seen, he definitely enters the list of the most influential man in the history of this club

Presidents are not football managers. They try to pick the right professionals for each position and oversee things from a general perspective, like a CEO. Laporta must be some kind of genius. Did he ever hire a manager that hasn't won at least a big title?
