Folk waho wanted Laporta to 'keep Xavi for years' and used to drool over how much better Real squad were than Barcas now flipping to its all about Laporta when proven wrong.

Usual and predicted.

Best thing Laporta did was punt likes of Xavi these folk wanted to stay and to get rid of likes of Gundogan.

Random thought how many presidents/owners have a record where all the managers they've appointed as won at least a league title?

If flick leaves while he's still president and the next manager does the same

It would have been an insane run of "luck".

As said many time the rules will be.. win and its all Laporta and lose he couldnt do any more and 'saved club' while the most predictable players get blamed.

Nothing new.

Best thing he has done is punt Xavi who some wanted at club for 'years' yet.

That and realising likes of Gunodgan had to go and didnt fit Flicks style

All that on top of the players brought in and the class of Cubarsi, Balde, FDJ, Pedri, Yamal etc already at club and a firing La Masia plays a part.

Same folk who used to gush over Real and how much better they are than Barca and would argue against Barca being able to beat them will come out all guns blazing saying they proved folk wrong if win.

Usual.

Best part is dude is on ignore but keeps stalking my post.

Different level of nerd.

Fake news.

Keep pretending dont read comments.

Suits you.

'Stalking' from the nerd who I am so deeply imbedded in his thoughts he paints his wee profile with 'virgin' comments.

Love it. Tells its own story about the lad.

Never change. Thats an order.

That wasn't the impression last summer. Gundogan was one of the solid performers under Xavi and he made it clear that he was forced out of the club due to financial reasons.

Gundogan wasnt wanted by Flick and left after being told he would have reduced role in team.

It doesnt make sense to punt him for finances but end up still paying him and also paying more for Olmo on books.

Last season he wasnt as good as made out and Barca absolutely cannot play way have this season with him in team.

Gundogan was increasingly slow and leggy and by far the worst Barca midfielder off the ball both offensively and defensively.

Still had moments of class but he was leggy last season, leggy for Germany in summer and leggy for City this season.
