John stones I don't know but how david luiz? He has very little defensive intelligence for him to be a barcelona defender.
I watch Chelsa games regularly since Conte took over, and he's great for them. He looks bad when asked to absorb pressure in a deep defense, because he is not a natural defender. But tactically, in the right setup, he can work great. Protected by a very good DM in Kante, he's delivering very good performances.
Luiz works for dominating teams, where he isn't put under constant pressure. Same as Stones.
