Ugh, no. I like JDS. Don't want him to leave. :(

Same here, would be a terrible loss, IMHO...One of my favorite current Masia players that I've been pipping for future success with the first team...Gotta sort this out and not let a Cesc situation occur like last election in 2003

From reading the Sport article, however, it wasn't clear if there were actual problems in the negotiations or if they were simply delayed in signing...Although, it was confirmed that JDS left to meet up with his WC teammates without having closed the deal

Jona has always stated that he loves the club and wants to stay. He knows he's well liked and I think he'll stay. It's just he had a deadline to arrive in Germany to meet his teammates for the NT, where the coach is still deciding on cutting one more player and I'm pretty sure Jonathan didn't want to be him. Zahavi is in Spain reviewing the contract and I suspect Jonathan will be signing soon.

With the perspective to have Xavi, Iniesta and Cesc in a same team, it takes a real courage, self-confidence and bravery to stay around and try to fight for your place in the best team on the planet.

I hope Johnny and Thiago do have these mental characteristics, because I'm sure they have the qualities. Or at least I hope one of them have it, it'd be terrible if they both leave.

It would be an absolute nightmare. After going around saying how La Masia is so important to the first team and then let two of the most promising players from it leave is mind blowing

Anxiously waiting for the next match
TBH all that they are doing is waiting until after the world cup so jonathan can show his stuff and see what teams want him and or if barca want to put him in the first team

I wish he would sign and we could loan him out right away that would be perfect, maybe even a year in Mexican footy who knows

Seen as Zahavi is his agent it may be best for him to leave. Either that or kidnap Zahavi, torture and kill him. Hate that man.

I say we kidnap zahavi and seluk, put them in a pit and force them to fight to the death.

then when one of them has won, we open a gate and let a lion fuck him up.

or something.

This is fucking messed up. The problem is that the agent is going to use JDS' trip to the WC to the fullest and get a lucrative deal from another club. Really lucrative. Jonathan will be stupid as well. The thing is that while Pep did not play him enough Pep was justified in that JDS is still young and far too inexperienced. And he doesn't want him to end up like his brother. We also know that the club can be crap at negotiating but in this instance it will be the fault of the agent.
If we lose JOnathan it will be a much greater loss than his brother, cause he is far more talented and also plays in an important position for us...
And if we lose Jonathan and don't sign Cesc I will cry.

Pep knows these players well, and knows their potential. I'm sure he will get a chance to talk to them and persuade them to stay if negotiations take a turn for the worst

I think Dos Santos looks a great player he looks like a xavi and iniesta in one. Member seeing him in the last game he came on for 20 minutes and every touch was brilliant. Lovely passer of the ball. Looking forward to seeing him in the world cup. I hope he doesnt leave barca but a loan deal could do him the world of good I think. Send him to Celtic :)) :tumbleweed:
