He is to be sold to Zaragosa with buy back option, according to barca stuff..

the reason? the prostitute scandal?

Or probably because he needs playing time and Aguirre's little Mexican team will offer him that? :)

Well its such a sad thing to see him leave. Pep had more hopes for him than Thiago but sadly he is not there at the trust of the Meester now :/

I still wish Jonathan stays with us, continue and certainly he will break into the team.

I'd be happy with him going as long as there's a buyback option. I don't think he's quite good enough to be considered a first team midfielder at Barcelona in the future but he's talented for sure.

This still isn't official is it?
Not sure how I feel about this move, I know he will get playing of he goes along with Barrera and Efrain, oh well, and oh the irony of this move lol. Aguirre cutting him from the 2010 WC squad, and him wanting him? Or it goes to show you how Aguirre wasn't that in charge of the squad, oh well who knows.

How do compare them? If they play completely different positions?
Gio has more experience with Mexico, is that what you mean?

Like fcb1, he never really impressed me too. Might become be an ok player, but nothing more imo. He doesnt have that super agility, ball control and flair of Xavi and Iniesta. Thiago is way closer to them than JDS, so thats a fine move to me. And there is still the buyout option.

just meant with all the fuss about them since 02/03 never really seen much in jds, and same goes for gds, i know their diff positions, but nothing to do with there position, i just though theyve been over-rated( prob unfairly), just mean there not as good as they think they are, and would of never made it a 1st team players at barca.

We could get more money for Romeu to go towards the cesc transfer and to keep the net spent close to the orginal 45 million euros we announced we had to make signings

“@barcastuff: Barcelona are considering to offer B midfielder Jonathan dos Santos (21), who has offers from Spain and England, a contract renewal. [sport]”
