He probably didn't get the chance to think about it. I was too going to be overexcited like him when I finally get one proper cross the whole season as a Barca player, and probably the last one I will ever get, so I got to get the best use out of it.

Just see that determination and power in that header. Bravo didn't even see where that bullet came from. Dang!

Alba was completely abysmal.

The tactics actually meant he was one of the few that got space yet his only idea was a straight run and a shite cross.

He contributes next to nothing in last third other than late runs.

For me hes not good enough.

I like some things about Alba, but he's really not terribly smart with the ball. Receiving long passes, his touch is okay, but not great, so he loses some time there. Then, his brain is even slower than his touch. He doesn't see runs and attacking options (other than sometimes continuing his run to the goal line), so any advantage gained by the switch field is soon lost. He's better off releasing the ball immediately to Neymar/Pedro/Suarez, then supporting them with a back pass option or an overlap.

SPOT ON. He is a one of those type of players that would be considered one of the best in mediocre teams, but he is exposed on big stage. Decent player but miles off from top-class.
