Jordi Alba

Completely ridiculous red card. Ronaldo should get a red card every match then, because when he dives and ref does not whistle or gives him an yc for simulation, he starts pressuring and whining to the ref right in his face, and then goes away ranting with extreme irony and with a sarcastic laugh, and I don't see him get a red card. Alba could've helped by accepting the yc and shutting his mouth though,

Alba doesn't play for rm, cr does.

In his supposed kicking away of the ball, didn't he send it right towards their GK? Isn't that the ideal thing for him to do?

Apparently Mateu Lahoz has no problem with such gestures below.

If Alba is indeed telling us the truth then it's ridiculous but as Busquets rightly said then Mateu likes to be the center of attention. Something a good referee should not be. It speaks volume that LFP consider him as one of their best referees.

So true.

In short, vaya payaso el Mateu Lahoz, vaya payaso.

A nice side effect of the red card was that Alba at least got some rest. I think he would've played the whole game had it not happened. :lucho:

But yeah, the club absolutely needs to appeal this card. It's should be indefensible to give two yellows like that. Lahoz can report whatever he likes on what Alba said, but that first one should never have been given anyway. He was frustrated yes, but all he did was kick the ball to Casilla. He did absolutely nothing wrong.

I believe it's a straight red, not two yellows.

Knowing LFP's corruption and love for Madrid I expect more than one game for Alba, even though he didn't insult Mateu.
