He was excellent today IMHO, his connection with Messi long through passes was incredible, too bad he couldn't finish them. Basically we only attacked from the left side. Not the best one around defensively, but he supports the attack so much!

First time ever I've seen Alba being outpaced in a game. He even matches Bale for pace but Salah skinned him easily.

It was a weird play... If he wanted to score he should had taken a header or a volley, but if he wanted to pass the chest control was the right thing to do, yet he mixed the two...

Still can't fault him because it was pretty fast, and De Sanctis did a good job closing him down...
