Jordi Alba

It doesn't matter whether he plays more as a striker or winger, he still plays on Jordi Alba's flank.

He doesn't, Griezmann usually play centrally most of the time.

At least considering from his previous games.

Anyway, I'm more worried for Carrasco when he runs past Alves in the other flank.

Carrasco and Griezmann are the ones we need to be aware of. Carrasco is so good at dribbling past defenders and Griezmann is so lethal in getting inside the box or on counter. Good thing Correa is suspended as he's also a pain in the ass.

He wasn't "awful". Outside of the 1-0 goal, Atletico had a couple of long range shots, a Griezmann half-chance and one big chance (the one save by Bravo). That's about it. He couldn't have been awful in defence, because Atletico entered our 16m box about 3-4 times in the whole game, set pieces excluded. And only 1 time on his flank.

The midfield was off today.

He got beaten a single time defensively but he wasn't bad at all. And his attacking contribution actually won us the game along with Alves, so that should more than make up for it.

Didn't got the chance to see a replay of that but I've had the impression he was fouled prior to the goal.

Judgement call in my book. Just thought Alba could have done better in that situation.
