He is a fraud SD that has no clue let alone expertise of what it is to be an SD
Lives off his father's name

In that sense, I won't miss him.

But in the context of Allemany leaving as well, we see that Laporta is turning the club into a club of his buddies.

Indonesia have a football project? Interesting. I don't remember a lot of good footballers from there. Most foreign Dutch footballers are from Suriname. Reijnders is Indonesian though.

But it's great to see these Asian countries waking up a little in football world. Just when you think of how much talent is somewhere there, maybe never even touched a football or just played it for fun - it makes you sad that we can't witness it yet.

I am sure I am not the best one to talk about it, but they seem to have passionate football fans, probably too passionate (there was a massacre few years ago in a football match).

There are few Dutch players with Indonesian origins, like Gio Van Bronckhortst.

They might not ever be successful NT by our standards, but there are regional tournaments and little achievements that can make fans proud.

This guy is all about the bag.

I doubt they are paying him that much.
But honestly, he was good at working at lower level football.

Yes, Indonesia have passionate football fans, derby games are packed. The issue with hooliganism is also present. There's the historical connection between Indonesia and Netherldands during colonialism. Also some of the most shocking terror acts in Netherlands happened due to circumstances related to Indonesia.

There's a Bulgarian coach, Ivan Kolev, who's had a mediocre career in the Bulgarian league, but was successful in Indonesia, at one point coaching their NT. The level of Indonesia is low, but currently the FA are looking for a momentum. These are the standings for WC 2026 atm:
