Mourinho today: "You don't trust Pepe and you do it with someone that made a racist comment?"
You would think he'd been silenced or humbled by now. But he keeps taking shots at us.

Then again, it's Mourinho.

haha he keeps digging his grave deeper. He should really stop motivating us and put this time and effort for his own team

To be fair, UEFA and everyone else did shut up when Busquets said he didn't say such a thing. They believed him on his word. He has a point there. But then again using this point to justify Pepe's actions isn't too smart.

No, it still went on for a while after Busquets denied it. At least here in Sweden. There were a few differences, too. Pepe is clearly lying (as he's looking down at Messi before doing it, his left foot seems to be touching Messis arm and instead of taking a long step, and in the process evading Messi, he takes a short step right on to his hand), as for Busquets, Marcelo never heard anything.

For me the difference is following: there were only 2 persons who know for sure what happend Busi/Marcelo,, there was a hearing and a decision. In the case of Pepe, millions of people could witness what happened AND there was not even any kind of hearing. It was just brushed over, try to hurt somebody? No problem. just go on

But then again it can't be proven that Busquets didn't say these remarks. Marcelo not hearing anything only adds to the idea, because there are no witnesses meaning he could get away with it. In the name of the rule "what happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch".

Well, stepping on someone's hand isn't too threatening towards their health. I had people stepping on my hands and legs with their cleats while playing in the local Cambridgeshire league whether it was an accident or an asshole act. So for me racism is worse than that kind of act.

Until they are mic'd up like the NFL or NBA, it's a witch hunt to try and label Biscuit for anything...But typical deflection from the guilty to play that game, there's no honor there

Which goes back to my original premise even before Mou was hired...He's about as lowlife a character as exists in footy, evil as far as the sport goes...Nothing has changed in his short tenure with the capital club...So I'm hardly surprised anymore, if anything I feared it could even be worse with potential civil war between people off the pitch...I was certain he was going to stoke some ethnic tensions...Apart from that, stupid is as stupid does and Mou is King Stupid...La Liga has enough problems that they don't need this lowlife shitting on the league more

And Busi is cleared from that accusation, I do not get your point. I would like to know where you would draw the line: so stamping on the hand is perfectly okay, what about kicking somebody in the head while lying on the floor (Re Getafe), also okay for you, or trying to break someones leg like Ramos tried to do in the 5:0 clasico, also okay for you? Is it okay to hurt somebody on purpose if he plays for Barca, or does that go for every opponent of Madrid?

should it be always a real career threatening injury for the big boys to do something about it? the point is that we should not always worry about which clasico will it be that ends Leo Messi's career. the conscious attempt to hurt someone physically is a terrible, terrible thing.

Lets keep bringing racism debate out of it, these are two different types of foul acts and comparing them will get us no where. that was the exact reason Mou brought this up. a very pathetic attempt to hide his failure and use his media influence to get people in a never ending useless debate.

Jesus. As I said, stepping on someone hurts like a bitch for a couple of moments, I know it, I got stepped on in matches in the local league in England where usually you end up with a bruise or two for the next day.

Where the fook did you pull out kicking and trying to break legs from? Did I ever approve what Pepe did against Getafe or what Ramos did in 5:0 Clasico? What I said is that just like after every tackle which doesn't cause long term injury and hurts for a while you eventually get up and keep playing and it's nowhere near as hurtful as leaving scars on people's backs with your cleats or making a full impact contact with opponents leg which could lead to a 2-3 weeks break or longer (e.g. Ujfalusi's tackle on Messi).

And it's not about that or the other tackle being okay or not okay. I don't approve what Pepe did, I think it's stupidly low and unnecessary, but I also don't think it was an extremely hazardous act. It's a fact.

As for Busquets, he was cleared from that accusation, but based on what? His own words. That's my point.

And you know that it was only on his own word, because? Was there a 115 page dossier like in the Suarez case?

And the problem for me is not how much it hurts, I a tackle you can get an injury which hurts more or ends your career. What gets my knickers in a twist is the cold calculated way he did it: looking around if nobody is watching, looking down and then stamp. It was no heat of the moment, no duel, it was a calculated act of highest cynism and cowardice
