Zubi deserves as much credit as Bartomeu. If Bartomeu can be relected then why can't Zubi come back?

What would you give Laporta credit for in building his Barca side?

It's not a pissing contest. Barto deserves almost no credit for the treble, probably doesn't know much about football at all anyway
his job is to keep the club running and in line with fcb traditions, rosell and he failed and failed and failed, even in attacking Laporta.

Gaspart & Núñez were terrible, that's not the same thing as bringing the club into disrepute the way this board has, the FIFA ban, Neymar fiasco, ongoing corruption/fraud investigation and the horror that has happened to our beloved kit that used to not have a sponsor

In fairness to the kit though if that's the difference between having MSN and not then at least there's a strong argument for it. Other clubs would have more spending power otherwise as Barca had a lot of debt and no outside source of spending like City or PSG.

It was probably time to do it but it was undersold.

The main thing the next president needs to do is keep MSN happy for the next few years (Messi especially).

Opened the door, increased the club's membership, global presence & elevated the brand in terms of respect...I think we can safely assume Qatar Foundation or Qatar Airways (Which wasn't voted on, btw) doesn't do the same

The biggest thing/difference I see is that Laporta cares more about the club, particularly it's ethos & sporting success...And it's a club after all, not the corrupt corporation it's been run like...He signed Dani which is great but I doubt very much Alves would've had a pressy before the CL Final under Laporta if his contract was being negotiated...The blaugrana spirit is alive & well among fans but the current board doesn't have that sort of currency which I think will come out in the campaign

If you are right then Laporta will say he wont back the Qatar sponsorship and he will go back to Unicef.....he wont and if he does will have no chance to win.

The members voted on the Qatar deal it wasnt forced on the club.

It is off-topic but Núñez is a legend ,not terrible by any mean .the guy brought too much success to the club .the history of the club improved drastically under him then under Laporta .No matter what you say about the guy he is the one who brought Cruuff back and gave him the freedom to build the modern day Barca

Gaspart in the other hand destroyed the club in every possible way .there was some moral scandals back then too but the internet back then isn't what it is today so it isn't remembered .the only good thing that happened during his time was signing that 13 years old Argentinian kid named Messi .otherwise he beats rosell as worst president tbh

FIFA ban leads back to Laportas day as well and Laporta/Cruyff said would have fought it in same way.

We have ignored FIFA warning in illogical ways ,yes we broke the rules under Laporta but we challenged FIFA during Rosell era tbh and we could have avoided the ban like RM and other Spanish team did if we reacted to warnings.

I am against this board but this is over reaction ,we have won treble and have been the best club in Europe in the 21st century .we really not ned for a rescue .both candidates are legit tbh

Huh? what nonsense is this? Everyone is happy LE renewed. However we can still logically separate this positive renewal from all the wrong the Rosell/Bartomeu tandem have done for the club and judge base on that.
