They have zero fucking power to stop people from voicing their concerns on social media platforms.

Twitter has a history of banning accounts that don't align with their narrative. Many conservative twitter accounts that dealt with American politics were banned for no reason other than for being conservative. Of course when questioned Twitter labelled those accounts "racist" and guilty of spreading "hate speech". Don't be surprised if Barto makes some under the table deal with Twitter to shadowban the hashtag. This was a regular occurrence during the 2016 election when anything anti-Hillary or anti-liberal stated trending it would be removed from the site within minutes. Facebook is even worse.

These social media sites are just as corrupt as Barto if not more, do not be surprised at all if you see them manipulating the anti-Barto tweets.

That is not true. I've seen all kinds of posts regarding Trump or Clinton. It gets removed when it turns into hate speech or discriminatory. They have 0 chance to stop this.

It is 100% real. Go to any Trump tweet and read the replies, all the pro-Trump replies are buried into the void where they get 0 visibility and all the anti-Trump replies are given preferential treatment by Twitter and are at the top of all his posts. They do this by verifying or giving blue check marks to almost every irrelevant liberal blogger or or columnist and not verifying even the biggest of conservative names. Hell even Julian Assange isn't verified on Twitter, whereas some no name liberal hack with a blogspot account is given the blue check mark. These verified accounts then go and spam every conservative poster's replies with negative comments and are promptly liked and re-tweeted by bots, this puts them at the top of the pile when looking at replies.

When Podesta's emails were leaked last year they were probably the biggest topic in the world for a solid one to two months yet it was removed from Twitter's trending list within minutes. Twitter doesn't ban individual posts but they deliberately give visibility to the ones their agenda aligns with. When was the last time you ever saw a pro-Trump hashtag trending? Chances are it did trend, but Twitter refused to show it. Forget even Trump, anything to the right of their self-imposed ideology is not allowed to trend. When those white supremacists held a rally the word "Nazi" trended for 3 days straight and rightly so, but after a group of black teenagers beat up a mentally handicapped Trump supporter and live streamed it on Facebook, Twitter censored the hashtag immediately.

These social media outlets have complete power over what we see, read and think. It would be foolish to assume they're not using this power to manipulate people and further their own agenda. Twitter's censorship is pretty mild compared to what Facebook and YouTube are doing these days though.

Your argument doesn't convince me. Twitter account verification is a process that user has to do. It's up to Assange to verify his own account. Why he decided not to do, we don't know, but you cannot jump to assumptions. Podesta's email leak could be easily removed by Twitter because it's against his policy: you cannot publish information obtained illegally, especially if the owner of the information files official complain. And I said in my previous post: discriminatory comments will be removed, I doubt for hashtag Nazi you don't have discriminatory comments. Maybe Twitter screwed up not removing the hashtag earlier and now it looks like conspiracy, but I doubt that it was conspiracy. Also I doubt Trump is losing his support on Twitter. He is the one who tweets like a teenage girl who just hit puberty. At the end do you really think Farto is powerful enough to stop Twitter? he did not have the power to stop Neymar ffs..

Of course the user himself has to initiate to verification process, but at the end of the day Twitter themselves have the final say and it is up to them to complete the verfication process. Assange has contacted Twitter multiple times trying to get him account verified, but they refuse to comply.

Here is a tweet about him complaining about it:

[tw]842068929119956994[/tw]

Regardless of whether you like him or not, agree with him opinions or activities, there is absolutely no reason for Twitter to not have verified him for this long despite him trying to contact Twitter several times. Censorship has been occurring on these platform repeatedly over the past couple years and it is not a conspiracy at this point as it happens on a daily basis. Here is just a list containing evidence of all the censorship that came with the "GamerGate" controversy: http://thisisvideogames.com/gamergatewiki/index.php?title=Censorship#Start_of_GamerGate

Anyways, it is not far fetched at all for some desperate man with power like Bartomeu to contact Twitter and bribe them to remove all the negative hashtags and trends about him. He wasn't able to keep Neymar, but when it comes to shady activities like censoring his critics, laundering money, or improving his business relations illegally via the club he is at the top of the list and his credibility should not be questioned.

Thanks for teaching me the difference between ilk and elk. Allow me to return the favor this one time, one non-native to native speaker.

"Of course they have to come out and say that.

It is a challenge to anyone wishing to speak about that story to shut up.

As I said yesterday it doesn't even make sense from the Chinese side which is likely to lose their best player and spend money to replace him with an inferior one."

Well articulated post, I agree. Hopefully the President defends the club against those leeches.

Haha I was on my phone and typed it up. Dont care if there is errors in it.

However if I was saying how stupid someone else was and made those mistakes or used wrong words then I agree I would look like a fucking idiot.

It's too easy, jam.

Not easy when you miss the point.

If I had been using a post to attack another poster for how stupid they are and made those comments then fair enough.

Calling someone an 'imbecile' then acting like one is a bit more foolish than just typing like an imbecile as I did.

My bad, I thought accusing someone of "babbling contradicting rubbish" reflected a very poor opinion of said poster's intellect. I must've been wrong.

Jamdav wins again !!

No it was a reply to a trolling post and if I had said that and in same post as spoke shite like todays one then you might have a point.

I have no idea what you mean (dummie me) but that doesn't seem like a good deflection from your own contradictions. You demeaned someone in broken english, which you claimed never to do . Don't lend the stick for others to beat you with budbud
