They need to resign out of principle for yhis humiliation.
Yey this rat is trying to cling to his position by firing everyone else.

Weak socios been sleeping for years on this. Time to wake up and care about the clib like they should.

Last night was the accumulation of a decade of fucking up.

Only thing socios care about is the club being a symbol for the CATALAN. We can be relegated and they'd be fine with it cause of the CATALAN PRIDE

The way I see it; last night was the culmination of the last 8 years, that started our downfall and led us to this point right now; it was poetic justice, one goal from Bayern for each year of dreadful and shameless sabotage of destroying the club by the prison bastard and then this guy. Hopefully the blowback from this also marks the end of the road for this administration and pretty much half the team, starting with the seniors.

Bartomeu will announce the date of the elections shortly. [md]

No need to move the election up, if that is even allowed. Next season starts in less than a month. Any new board coming in on such short notice or mid-season would be set up for failure. May/June depending on when our next season ends would be a good time.

But that atleast will prevent this current board from making the situation worse. ( If the board that gets elected is competent ofc).

For example offloading Suarez or preventing him from getting that mandatory contract extension by not letting him play a certain amount of games.

Has to be a joke surely. So it means Messi had veto on manager appointment until now?

Setien would have never been appointed while EV fired if this is true.
It is just a PR trick to deflect blame, something that the board has been always good at.

The way I see it next season is fucked anyway. Better appoint the new board, give them a season to plan and then next summer execute everything.

January election could do as well since the new board will have enough time to prepare for 2021/22 season.

Next season is gone, and we can't have election or implement any radical changes with the season starting in less than a month.

Could someone here say for sure what is the earliest election date if the board does NOT resign, and what if it does resign?

I find the amigos calling for change in club management really interesting. The biggest mistake the current board made is keeping the amigos in the club until now when it was clear years ago that most of them are not good enough anymore. The board also did everything to keep the amigos happy putting them on long contracts and high salaries they don't deserve and giving them the yes men of managers they want. They actually should be supporting the board and what they are doing now is only to put the blame on someone else. They want big fundamental changes they say, well, the first and most important change is having the amigos out of the club!
