OTOH, my totally evidence-less conspiracy theory is Laporta is already making peace with heavyweights in media and Catalan side, including Bartou. He lost last election because he made too many enemies. Bartou and his board don't want a new term, non of those associated with him have big chance, making peace with Laporta will be their biggest chance of easy transitions.

He got a bigger % than that campaign even deserved.

Bartomeu now has 2 transfer periods summer and winter to DESTROY the club. He will get rid of good players and bring in bad players. If I was Messi I would leave he owes FCB nothing if FCB won't get rid of Bartomeu. Bartomeu is the problem he has made mistake after mistake. He has turned the club into a disgrace buying players only to sell them. Telling players to go on strike at clubs so they are forced to sell. Hiring firms to produce endless streams of news and attack our own players. DISGRACEFUL. And why are we short of money how much money has Bartomeu stolen by giving to his friends in PR firms etc.

His last year will ensure FCB is ruined for years and years. A competent Board could save this club at this point. But no he wants to drive in the final nails in the coffin.

Ah, tbh my stupid ass forgot it would take quite a while to get a new president and his directors on board, so yeah considering that it would be a bad move.
But still i doubt we will manage to ship more than 2-3-4 bums anyways. So yeah we are fucked either way.

Even Sport have ripped into Bartomeu calling his management "garbage".

There will bo no big changes next season. Maybe we will get rid of guys like Rakitic, Vidal, Umtiti and Semedo. However I am sure amigos like Suarez, Pique, Busquets and Alba will remain.
It's too bad we qualified for CL because I don't think I can stomach a fourth humiliation.
