Im beeing honest it's sounds promising :

Bartomeo : We have the style but we have to adapt the new generation of football. It's more physical now then before and we lacked that. We have to adapt our playstyle a little bit. We need more physicality

We need to cut our Wage bill, it's too high

Bartomeu's promised revolution will be nothing but a sham in the end.

The Captains and Luis Suarez want to stay and will talk to Koeman presumably to convince him before they're put on the market.

And so it begins. The power struggle that will lead to us selling 1 or 2 seniors and that's it.

Again, if this rat is serious, 2 of the seniors will be out of the door by the end of the week.

Of course they want to stay. But if they are told to their faces that they have to go they might just fuck off. Ronaldinho was told the same with 2 years left on his contract in 2008. I bet he wanted to stay

I think going by Koeman's press conference today, Busi and Saurez are definitely gone.

BTW Barto did not say contract buyouts were an option. Totally false.

Font: "Bartomeu's interview on Bar?a TV? He is disconnected from reality. I don't know whether he lives in a parallel world or what. By not resigning, he has again put his interests ahead of Bar?a's."

Font: "Bartomeu made the decision to continue so that he can close the financial books and exempt himself & the board from recovering the losses suffered. Once again, it's selfish."

Font: " the current board is trying to seed a continuity presidential candidate, someone like Roche or Rosell."

Amigos got backed for years and guys like Busi or Suarez don't even know what competition means anymore, hell Suarez doesn't even have a real replacement on paper since Paco left. And now they suddenly should go, middle of pandemic just a month before next season starts.

No suprise their agents don't immediately come out saying they leave. We dont even know how clear the communication behind the scenes was.

Sure if players refuse to leave despite being told they should its kinda selfish but then again it's the board to blame for letting this happen. Reacting this late, giving out long-term highly paid contracts.

Even if they seriously try to get them all out now it's just Barto panicking to somehow save the last bit of reputation that might be left. They should've started this process months or better years ago instead of waiting for another CL disaster.

Didn't Barto say buying out some contracts was an option?

They could but imagine paying off Jordi Alba's millionaire contract... and then having to find another option in the market. This same methodology applies to every dinosaur out there that played vs Bayern. Let's be honest here, the only 2 contracts viable for buy out are Rakitic's and Vidal's...
I doubt we will sell any players except maybe Suarez, Vidal, Roberto or Messi (if it is the case) because who on earth would want a crippled Busquets or Pique?

THEY ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE BECAUSE AS RAKITIC HAS BEEN SAYING FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS: "I HAVE A CONTRACT"

Planes: "We must look for a balance between young and experienced players to make a champion team."

and they stay.... next heroic record in cl incoming

No problem with that as long as the experience is ter Stegen, Lenglet or Pique, Pjanic and Messi.
