Yep, strange to see the high pressure work against Vinyals side because many better sides failed to have much success this season doing similar...Were they simply tired from the long season?...The crappy artificial turf or did the physicality wear them down?

Yeah, it did look like it affected them, I agree...But the high pressure worked better than that of Benfica, for example, who were even better at it, IMHO...I think they were a bit gassed or not really up for the miniclasico - which would be strange

Not surprised.

La Masia has two higher profiled defensive midfielders with Samper and Oriol Busquets. Former has to be regular starter at Barca B next season. Latter probably to Juvenil B.

It is a pity, he is not good enough as a DM because he hasn't the profile, he doesn't help much in ball recovery but he is fluid and elegant with the ball at his feet and his passes are mostly accurate, I think Xavi's position fits him better, he is better IMO than some B team MFs.
