He'd cost us a bit more than what you think because if he came we'd have to give him change everyday to pay the cab...

Question. In light of recent rumours of Kaka leaving this summer and knowing Rosell's Brazilian connection.. Would you welcome Kaka in Barcelona?

No, because I don't think he fits our 4-3-3 system. And because it doesn't seems that we're going to change the system we're playing since 20 years so far, there ain't a point to sign players who wouldn't fit in.

What I mean is that Kaka is fully effective mainly as AM and we don't have a position like that. On his best days, he could be amazing in a 4-3-1-2 or 4-4-1-1 system or something, where he could play behind the striker/s and just blow away the enemy's defence, but how I said - we don't use tactics like that.

If he comes to us, he'll have to play as a CM or a wing, which won't fit him. He can't play like a CM, because he doesn't have the needed work rate for this and he'll be obligated with too much defensive tasks (which is not usual for him) and I don't think is needed to point out why Kaka is not a winger.

That's what I think.

neither was ronaldinho and he still did turn out pretty well

Would you splash out 40 or 50 millions euro for a player with the hope that it "could work", just because it did with Ronaldinho ?

Because, if you're gonna spend so much cash for somebody, it would be better if you're sure why exactly you're doing it.

Just hypothetically, if we spend 40 millions for Kaka with the idea to use him as a winger, and it turns out to be terribly wrong (as it could be expected), we'll probably look as the biggest fools on earth.

We did exactly this with Henry a few years ago.

first we never played with real wingers, second i never said kaka should be signed, it isnt realistic anyway. I would like to have robinho though.

We did?

Because as I could remember, playing on the flank wasn't something new for the one-time-really-pacy Henry. Or at least, on theory he's a player who own the right characteristics to be a winger. (especially in his prime)
That's the difference with Kaka, who has never been a wide player in his life so far.

First, we're a wide team and we use wingers. Second, we are a wide team and we use wingers. Third, I don't know what you wanted to say, I just reply on your post where you clearly wanted to give a point.

... basically reduced to running fast ... which is a property of Kaka as well id guess. Besides that, Henry never was a true winger as i never saw his dribbling and crossing to be really outstanding.

Ya 19 goals in La Liga (26 total) and 6 cups later I agree it was a bad decision...

Good then, not good now. He was never anything like he was in his prime at Arsenal with us, but he did work out for most of our legendary season. After this season he has to go though.
