nah, zidane is a big fan of benzema. I dont think the nr. 9 position will change, maybe a decent backup. There will be changes in MF, wings, and the LB/RB maybe.

Pretty sure it's part of the deal for him coming back. No way he would without assurance of transfers.

Tbh, there are very few wide goalscorers available, so how about a 4-4-2? Benzema in his usual support role, along a goalscoring striker?

There's hardly any constant Zidane system. He experimented with diamond, 4-3-3, 4-4-2.. most offensive lineups we already used. He tailors it to players he has in form. Isco barely played in 15/16 and then he had that game against Atleti, where we moved to a diamond since to exploit our WBs. Then back to 4-3-3 after Isco faded in 17/18.

We just need to make sure players who really cannot lead and self-motivated are not cornerstones to us winning. That was the let down last season and what Zidane wanted to improve. He knew it'd be that much harder with Cristiano gone.
