On another note: Impossible to hate this guy

One of those rare Real Madrid players I dunno how any Barca fan or a neutral one can hate.

Yeah, blackmailing his own teammates. Calling his national teammate a Go Kart and putting him down publicly.

Such a nice guy.

well, its a good thing the bdor doesnt include considerations of moral character

if he keeps doing well in the league and the CL he has as good a shot as any other top player to win the bdor

I haven't seen any other striker carry a team like Benzema does with Madrid in the last years. No one. Best big-game striker since Eto'o IMO. Lewandowski is great, but usually vs smaller teams.

Suarez is overrated because of MSN era. Basically, he just played at a superb level for 2 years at best.

His third goal vs PSG was just pure filth.

Suarez was great for Liverpool too tbf.

I think both Suarez and Lewandowski's peaks are better than Benzema's but Benzema is the most clutch striker of his generation and the more consistent player overall.

Txiki actually wanted to sign him back in 2009 but Pep insisted on Zlatan.

I feel there are different standards. For Liverpool, he basically didn't play in the CL. The pressure was low as they were not expected to win or compete for big titles. He was great for the PL level no doubt, smashing teams like Norwich and such. But this is a different level. For me, Suarez just showed too little vs the biggest teams in Europe.

Suarez played at the clutch levels of Benzema in 2015 and partly in 2016 when I felt Messi and Neymar let him down. That's it. Way too short. by 2017 he was done in CL basically.

Right now, in my head it's pretty clear, Benzema - Lewandowski - Suarez is the order for the 2010s early 2020s.

Peak Ronaldinho is better than Cristiano Ronaldo, but Ronaldo ended up as a clearly better player. Consistency over time against the biggest teams is the most important factor for me.

Wow imagine prime Neymar, current Benz, prime/current Messi up front.

Apparently, Micah Richards has been impressed by Benzema in the last 6 months and considers he reached the level of Harry Kane.

Henry couldn't believe his ears in the studio.

Micah Richards has a room temperature IQ that's for certain.

Henry's expression was mine when I first heard that statement.

I just stopped watching the rest of the show.

Imagine!! Would've been a better replacement to Eto than Zlatan here.

at his height suarez was better but benz's longevity makes him better overall. he has been a dependable CF at a top 3 elite club for 12 years and has only gotten more impactful with age. usually its the other way around

it is no joke to be no9 at RM for 12 seasons straight
