Let's see how this will develop, but imo it seems that Sarri is not respected too much by his players or that he doesn't know what to do in these situations.
Also, a player would never even try something like this under Simeone, Klopp, Pep, Zidane and similar.
So, 1-2 years ago when people on this board wanted Sarri as our savior, since: his teams played a nice and attacking football.
But people, simplified things and looked only at aesthetics and attacking football and didn't look at other factors.
Was Sarri a famous footballer? No
Has he coached some big teams? No
Has he won any trophies? No
Has he ever coached superstar, spoiled footballer? No
Was he ever under a pressure to win 1-2-3 titles in each season? No
Did he have any connections with Barca and La Liga? No
Does his team play Barca's DNA type of football? Yes
A similar thing happened with Sampaoli before Sarri.
Anyway, it is quite different to be a coach of Sevilla, Betis, Napoli and Barcelona.
When we sum all factors, I would personally still pick EV over Sarri, for example.
Regarding our next coach one day, "playing Barca's DNA" football will not be enough.
A coach will need to have tactical but also leadership, motivational ideas, man management skills, mental strength, bravery etc (I am not saying that EV has those, though).

not sure why people are so quick to jump on Sarri in this incident.. Chelsea are a shit plastic club heading for midtable once Hazard packs his bags, Roman is fucked with brexit so don't expect any big squad renovations either. they also have previous for turning on their managers, even Mourinho their special one ffs. toxic club and no doubt Sarri made a huge mistake taking on that crap, staying at Napoli would of been better until a big club came knocking.
