If you weren't offended you wouldn't have responded to Mbappé's brace with two pages of whining over Messi, Ligue 1, and myself. Keep in mind your reaction is less a response to me and more a reflection of yours and others insecurities.

In other news:

I know Messi's name is featured there, but Kylian's success is no slight to hime, so try to spare me your tears this time.

Good thing it mentions Europe's top 5 leagues.

Just so they can squeeze Ligue 1 in there.

I guess everything PSG-tied accounts post have to start with 'Europe's best 5 leagues'. Which is just an euphemism for saying 'Europe's 4 leagues + PSG'.

I blame United for your unusual courage on this forum this time of the year you know...

I blame your insecurities for your responses over the last couple pages.

Both sides to this debate have a point, no he can't hype too much anything mbappe, neymar are who ever else does in the french league, because it's the french league! Where psg is so much better than everyone else it's not even funny.

That being said, mbappe would carry his current form into any league in Europe, he is a generational talent after all.

He would, no doubt. His numbers wouldn't be as great tough. You up the difficulty level, your numbers drop a bit. It's only logical. Would still be one of the best attackers in La Liga obviously.

This forum is turning into a "hype everything QSG or Ligue 1" due to the postings of certain users. Very annoying. When somehow this absurd narrative is countered, us critics are called "HATERS" , when we otherwise would not have even spent 10 minutes on QSG each month if not for this forum being flooded with the above posts.

No you're wrong, we are "INSECURE" .

Literally the go to argument for a certain fella who needs no introduction.

BUFFON ON MESSI : (This is actually post PSG move)

Even Italy legend Buffon appears to have his preference, as was evident when he was asked who he believes the favourites are for the UEFA Champions League recently.

"Champions League favourites? You have to say Barcelona because they have the best player in the world,"

Yes, indeed. After all we have lost all of our meetings in the knockout stages in the CL against them since all the way back to the 2012-13 season when freaking Beckham was playing for them. Not the other way around.

With that lot around it is no wonder that people are taking a piss on Ligue 1 and singing the "farmers league" song. It's the fifth best league in Europe (which is not bad) and that is about it. Absurdities of making it sound like or alluding to it being similar in strength to La Liga, EPL, Serie A or even the Bundesliga is laughable. Similarly comparing Ligue 1 to the Portuguese or Ducht league when it is clearly better.

Likewise Mbappé is a great talent, not because he has scored 20+ goals in a league that the likes of an old Ibra and Cavani completely destroyed (stats wise) for years but because he is genuinely one of the better talents to emerge in recent years. However there is a long way from that to comparing him with even the "real" Ronaldo, the Portuguese one let alone freaking Messi. No stats posted will change this or some conversion rate percentages when Mbappé is playing for QSG (the most dominant team in any of the top 5 European leagues by far and that is saying something with Juve and Bayern around) and when the worst teams (bottom 10) in France are comparable to mid table clubs in Portugal and the Netherlands level wise.

You guys are talking a lot about Mbappé numbers because of Ligue 1 level but i have to remind you that a guy like Aubameyang, that is a similar pacy striker, has already banged 16 goals in the mighty PL. And that is for Arsenal, not your dominating powerhouse.

In a league with so much space, with quick transitions, end to end actions, Mbappé skillset would thrive without a doubt. PL is prolly the easiest league for good Ligue 1 players to succeed in and this is the reason why PL clubs are spending so much money there. It is further evidenced by the latest players of the year.
And then, people will stop belittling his goal tally because it is not a "farmer league" even if his level hasn't changed. I have always find it funny how someone can be from being a fraud to being world class just because he plays or faces a PL team. Just like when PSG met MU, they were all saying they would win by 4 - 0 or more margin and then suddenly because they have lost, we are not so shit anymore...

Anyways, Messi is one of a kind and even if Mbappé was scoring 50 goals in the Premier League, it wouldn't change anything. The former is more than a scorer, he is a playmaker. Even with 0 goal in a game he can display moment of magic. The only person i would compare him now with is Neymar. Messi, over the years, has proven to be more consistent, efficient, in a word better than the brazilian.
Cristiano Ronaldo is another kind of beast for having been able to be legitly compared to Messi over all those years. A true performer.

My point is, if you put PSG in Premier League, i really don't think they'll have trouble to score agaisnt teams outside the top 3. As you have noticed, French clubs are actually doing good against PL clubs in recent years. And PSG, while crumbling against the top teams in the world, is a v ery capable team when they have to face inferior sides. This is why PSG has often the best attack in group stages lately, they can score for fun against the minnows of any league and PL does have their own minnows.

I (can't talk for other users) am probably the least impressed user when it comes to the level of EPL. However no sane person can deny that the quality of it is significantly bigger than that of Ligue 1. Yes, Mbappé having an easier time in EPL than in say La Liga or Serie A is believable. I believe that as well. However we won't know until he makes a move.

Anyway this is not an English forum, I have seen very few people here not form England (even users from England here tend to admit that EPL is not the strongest league in the world and not as good as the hype would suggest) consider EPL the best league or buying the English media hype.

I was actually convinced that PSG would win against this version of Man Utd with this manager (Solskjaer) who has no managerial experience on this level let alone in the CL compared to Tuchel. Not to mention that Man Utd run was pretty much a run based on emotions and them getting a new manager and getting rid of Mourinho that most of the team wanted gone. Now they are back to their level. Barely winning against the likes of Southampton at home and losing to PSG.

Messi is not only the best playmaker (by far) he is also the best distributor of the ball and the best goalscorer (stats confirm this). Which is what makes him unique. He is doing what 3 of the best players of any given team would usually do. Distributor, creator and goalscorer in other words. That is the genius of Messi alongside with 10+ years of insane consistency and incredibly individual brilliance on a consistent basis. Even in his 30's. All in the best league in the world and at the highest scene for 10+ years. Even his career for Argentina is criminally underrated.

In any case your fellow PSG troll keeps doing what he does best which is trolling. Hence the reputation of your fanbase here.

You’re the only ones talking about Messi. Why does Kylian’s success make some of you react this way? Insecurities, plain and simple.

Agreed. He’d struggle against the defensive genius of Huesca, Celta de Vigo, and Rayo Vallecano. Just like Vinícius.

There’s no point. The people you’re resonding to can’t be reasoned with, and have no intention of engaging in a logical and or fact based discussion.

He needs to come to La Liga. Doesn't matter which of the big 3 although, only Real and Barca could afford him. Ideally here

I'm speechless...

Why would a footballers success make me insecure, especially one which I actually like? Its the dickriding that I can't stand.
