He's showing the same weakness that Messi and CR7 had but not compensating that with the same level of strength as Messi and CR7 had

Turdle's nine years younger and without all the trophies they had before his undeserved entitlement started. Maybe he can have a revival if Madrid get a new manager but even then dunno how this can end well for him with such laziness. Doesn't help Vini's insufferable and competing for B'dor along with him.

Both of them are made for each other, despicable characters.

He wont change under this manager
Carlo more likely to delegate a player specifically to cover on the break (Fede)
Bellingham wont need to do the wide job all the time, he did because it's Vasquez and Mbappe is nowhere near the right wing much of the time meaning we tend to need an RWB

Team will be lopsided if guy doesnt do more down the right allowing RB to actually cover his own area freeing up RCMs

But guy is going to probably want to change something in himself just by observing how well his LW mate is doing adjacent - out of sheer greed/jealousy/competitiveness. He's still team's topscorer. Turning up a notch may prove to be his way of solving a problem. Not that it helps defensively

Real needed a target man but got a player similar to Vinicius.

They'll have to take a big decision for next season.

They might not need to decide, we're 3 months in, plenty things can happen
Including a Carlo sack if CL campaign looks sketchy

By playing to Mbappe strengths and moving him wider right
It's the only answer that doesnt involve getting rid of either and gives a chance for Bellingham to damage from the centre

Dont disagree 'blaming' Ancelotti isnt the answer
But the man is not even entertaining ideas that there's anything wrong with the way Mbappe game is treated
Carlo has self to blame if thinks can free him from press and keep him where is positionally + be able to compensate for Carvajal absence all season

More likely to get sacked mid-season and someone like Zidane brought in interim to try and do just enough snakecharming

I honestly think that they should just choose between Vini and Mbappe and use the other as a bench player. But obviously with their fame that can never happen.

Ideally would never have bought Mbappe in the first place and play Bellingham in the number 10 position or as a false 9.

Vini Bellboy Rodrygo (as Mbappe doesn't wanna play there and doesn't work hard enough anyway). There's plenty of goals in that, and some workrate. And with more midfielders the team will be more balanced. It might not work out in theory but seemed fine before Mbappe came.

I think hell will freeze before Mbappe accepts moving to the right.

Maybe
Only way I see it playing out with another manager having to try it if continues to catch flak for looking like shit
That or it'll continue to look same way and he'll net enough goals to stop people complaining but team wont win anything

Nowt to do with fame
Mbappe-Vini duo is a better duo than any other
Post-hoc - in the sense that you cant sell or buy anyone to recompense - they're also better having in team rather than throwing one away in 4-3-3

I just meant if one was dropped there would be outrage due to their profiles and reputations off the pitch. If Carlo dropped Mbappe for a big game and they got hammered you know the aftermath would be 'why didn't Kylian start?'

How do they work together in a team? Can Mbappe play up front or wide right?
