Wow wow wow 3 worldclass goals from Mbappi

He has found his form back and even though City defended like donkeys his finishing has been astonishing

Amazing how Hansi has stopped this guy, i dont trust the other teams, Bayern looked also crap against Leverkusen and Celtic, looks like were the only team which can stop this turtle!

Told you guys. Don't write him off. Ridiculous player. If you don't rate him you don't know ball.

I wrote in August, it'll depend if he'll steal the goals from the other players or start to score in addition to them.

So far, Madrid scored 1 goal less in LaLiga than in the last season at this point, no additional goals here. Now let's compare the players:

Bellingham this season 25 LaLiga games: 7 goals. Last season: 16 goals
Vinicius
this season until now: 8 goals. Last season at this point: 7 goals (And in his defense, he was injured 8 games last season, or he would have had more)
Rodrygo this season: 6 goals. Last season: 8 goals

At this point, Madrid's big 3 have -10 goals in comparison to last season witout Mbappe in LaLiga, CL was a different format so can't really compare. So far it looks like, he just takes away their goals and his other 7 goals could have scored a Joselu. Let's see where this will go further, but so far his signing is completely useless.

Good post. It's questionable if his signing will ever become useful. Only if he and Vini eventually work out together, which might not be the case. So far them two on the pitch has mostly been a failure. If he chases Vini off to a different club and Madrid has to bring a striker, then they have done practically nothing - Mbappe is probably a little better than Vini is at his best, but he doesn't have Vini's clutchness and deciveness in crucial moments. It events out and you probably get the same thing at the end.

Apparently missed yesterday's training due to the removal of a molar tooth. I don't see him start tonight (will likely come off the bench), also considering Real's upcoming fixtures.

We have had the similar discussions about Cristiano & Benzema gelling together around 2009. We already see signs of Vini-Mbappe-Rodrygo getting more and more used to playing with each other, as opposed to the first few months of this season, when they were all hogging the left flank (bizarrely)

Official - He won't be in the squad for tonight's game
