It's not about politics. It's about PSG playing in cheat mode.
A country being behind a foreign club and paying for all the transfers is just absurd.
I'm not sure how the local Qatari people feel about all this.

They have the highest average salaries worldwide, I am sure they are happy about it.

surely not?

The Pakistani and Indian slaves don't though. Fuck Qatar.

Qatar is pretty much ancient Athens with a tyrant and without the enlightenment lol. Over 80% of the population aren't citizens and they're overwhelmingly male, such a fucked up country

Back to Mbappe, the rumors of the day in france are actually that there's no fucking way they can afford him without massively breaching FFP in 2018, and that they will already have to let go of Di Maria/Moura + Aurier at the very least to make up for Neymar's transfer

No one forced them to come work in Qatar but that's none of my business ... :benitez:

These workers forfeit their passports to their "employers" when they arrive to work. They can't leave. And if they tried, they'd be tossed into jail.

Sure, go ahead and blame them, but don't complain when people call you out for being uninformed.

My point is that Qatar is a shit country for expats, I didn't mean to be offensive towards foreign workers

It is a shitty country for expats. And surely that reputation has spread. Those who are already there though are trapped in a truly terrible situation.

If this goes through I'm pretty sure they will be banned from eurpean competitions for at least 5 years. Not sure it will help them...
