I'm pretty sure 20 mil plus Ibrahim would do it, the CB market is screwed right now anywhere, not many world class cbs and very few incredible prospects if any, this guy is one of the best if you really think about it more due to lack of quality elsewhere than anything but he could be worth the punt.

Atm we need someone like him.

I am really confused why Barcelona are not taking this player as a matter of urgency? Real, Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea to name a few have been hounding his agent day and night.

He is already far far superior to Bartra in every department if you have watched him play in the CL, WC, Bundesliga, Pokal etc plus he is younger than Bartra and Puyol is finished for pace.

maybe barcelona don't think he is good enough on the ball to pass out from the back the way they like to do, if they thought he was the answer i am sure they would be in for him...

That is one of his attributes if you have seen him play. Schalke used him in their midfield for many of their CL games. He was spraying 30 meter plus passes with his left and right foot with ease and he had the highest pass completion rate for some of those games! Barcelona thought Valdes was the best goal keeper they could have the last 10 years, maybe Barcelona get it wrong sometimes in transfers and player selection - big time..
