Nonsense, there is no pride in being down 5-0 and keep conceding. Granada pretty much said "die" after 2-0 anyway, just a waste of energy to keep on going.

It's better than forfeiting, even though, technically speaking, a forfeit is only a 3-0 loss (I think).

Looking at the matches left, we should really win this league. We can afford a loss, so the Atletico game should not be decisive. Even if we count a loss against AM, we're still 1 point clear from Real Madrid with easier games than them. Except the Atletico game, we have Sevilla away, Valencia home and Espanyol away. Real play these teams the same way (S-away, V-home, E-away), but they have another difficult away game against Celta (they lost on Ballaidos last year, 0-2).

If we get 9 points from Sevilla-Valencia-Espanyol, we're 90% champions. We go +4 on Calderon and we either win the title there or we do it at home against Deportivo, in front of 100.000 fans. Sevilla is a massive massive game for this year's title. I hope we go into it with the right mindset and we see the best Barca.

Heart races just imagining it. Team needs to be focused and keep cool when the match is tough though. Last night, there was a bit of desperation and frustration against Celta.

It would be freaking wonderful if Sevilla and Valencia take some points away from Barca. Imo we have an easier schedule and even tho the chances aren't that great, we can win the title.

Besides the Atleti game your schedule is identical + we got Deportivo and you still got Malaga.

Tougher schedule for Barcelona but banana peels for RM too

How do you figure that?

Imo it's easier for us. We both have Almeria at home, Sevilla Away, Valencia Home, Espanyol away and Getafe at home. So 5 out of those 9 matches are identical. Now out of those 4 I think these are the "easy-medium difficulty ones" :
Barca: Cordoba and Deportivo
RM: Rayo Vallecano , Eibar, Malaga, Celta. They aren't easy matches but they aren't super difficult. You have ATM and Real Sociedad which we don't. The last 3 times you faced Sociedad you drew once (Copa) and you lost the last 2 Primera face-offs vs Sociedad. Out of our 4 not identical matches we have Malaga and Celta while you have Soc. and ATM who are obviously harder matches. We also just got some of our injured players back, this is our first match with James-Modrić middlefield in like 4 months or whatever, and imo we are a bit better breaking through park-the-bus strategies than you guys.

We play Real Sociedad at home.We most of the time trash them.
If we win the next 4 matches the league will most likely be ours.

ATM shouldn't count, because we have a 4 pts. advantage. We lose the game and we still win the title if we win the rest.

Sociedad at home is fairly easy. The last 4 home games vs Sociedad in the league are 5-1, 4-1, 2-1, 5-0. Scored 16 in 4 games, conceded 3. Sociedad would've been difficult if we played them on Anoeta. At home, not so much.

Deportivo at home is a slam dunk. They'll be relegated or saved by the time we play them and on Camp Nou we'll finnish the game in the first half. Not much different than the Almeria game. If we beat them 4-0 on El Riazor, we'll beat them the same way or even worse at Camp Nou most likely.

So, other than the 3 difficult-medium fixtures we share (Valencia, Sevilla, Espanyol), and the ATM game which we can afford to lose, Madrid has the tougher games IMO.

Indeed. Real Socidedad have only won 1 away game this season in the League.

I'm glad we are playing Sevilla before the champions league games. And Saturday at 8pm spanish time is a great day/time to play. I can't call this game though, I don't think anyone can.

I think we will take Valencia at home. The game im worried about is Espanyol away.
