Chief Of Footballing Matters
Espanyol and AM are the two hardest ones that we have left. Hopefully RM slip up at either Celta or Sevilla since Espanyol will just roll over for them to try to prevent us winning the title.

Interesting thought, if we go into those last two games 1 point ahead of RM do you guys think Atleti will try to prevent RM from winning the title? I doubt it knowing Simeone but if they are out of the title race by that point then who knows.

Atletico rolled over for us back in 06/07 or something like that when we beat them 1-6 in the Calderon or something like that. But in their current proud incarnation, and Simeone at the helm, it will not be easy for something like that to happen.

A lot will also depend on what happens in the Champions League, and obviously what happens in the League as well. If Alteti are assured of 3rd place, then even if they do not roll over for us, they will still not be at 100% in all probability.

If we draw against Atletico or in any games and Madrid win all their remaining games, we lose the Liga since they have the better head-to-head results against us (1-3, 2-1). We really have to win ALL of our remaining games. The league is far from over, still a long way to go until the last game.

RM will without a doubt drop points, they didn't play that well yesterday, and up until the end of the game a 2-2 draw was possible if Malaga was just a little better, add to that Modric out, i'm sure they'll slip.

Though we should be able to win the remaining of our games, to title is ours to win, and ours to lose too.

They've been led to the score in 2 last games and came back, let's see how it ends but it sure would be surprising ^^

It was called for offside anyway.

Pathetic performance, even though started without 4 key players and only included 2 of them during the latter stage of second half.

4th place is almost unreachable at this point. Valencia is less likely to drop points until their match against RM, while we will drop more along the way.
