In other news, Messi is only 3 behind CR for the pichichi race. You guys think Messi could catch up or will CR get another 5 tap ins per game in their next fixtures?

Very hard to predict, Messi can easily get a hat trick against getafe, real sociedad, depor all at camp nou, he loves those kind of games .. but CR7 can also easily get 10 goals against almeria lol

I think it'll be a very close call in any case, and depends also if Messi is rested a bit against those easy teams or not.

The good thing for Messi's BO 2015 aspirations is he'll play the Copa America that CR won't, so if he shines there, in top of the season he's having, and if in top of that Barça wins trophies this year, then i'm sure .......... Uncle Perez will write a check for $1 Billion dollar and Cristiano will get his fourth

There is also the assist battle, Ronaldo has one less assist in the league i think. 15 vs 16. Well, Messi should take that one, but assistiano Penaldo has a chance.

I sure hope Cristiano's assists won't matter, they're even less comparable to Messi's than the goal battle.

You can't compare 1-2 in the box assist with laser curved ball from the opposite side of the field, but we've seen stranger things ^^

Speaking of which, what would be Cristiano's best assist this season? does he have any where he fabricated the chance and finished with a smart pass ?

Calm down, Messi is a much better creator, we all know that. But this is a battle of numbers, not who creates the best chances. As for best assist for Ronaldo this season, i honestly dont know, as i cant seem to find a compilation of his 20 assists so far(all competitions) or for his 15 in the league.
But maybe this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dWgWXFjUrc ?
If someone can find a video of all his assists that would be nice.

CR is actually a decent passer. Nowhere near Messi level, but he can hold his own when it comes to giving through balls.

Cristina didn't score yesterday so he'll try hard to score as many as possible against Almeria on tuesday.
He knows that he won't have a lot of opportunity against Sevilla and Valencia.

Who cares about the Ballon d'or at this point. One blink of Perez's (tfu) eye and Cristina cries from joy.

Was so hilarious when the ref didn't let Larrivey come back on the pitch before Celtas attack was over yesterday. I immediately thought of this scene from The Gladiator, as if the referee was looking up in the stands to see if Perez gave him permission to let him back on or not. He was given a 'thumbs down'

Someone should seriously superimpose the face of Uncle Flo on to this :neymar:

Go Granada!
Slim chances, I know, and they are already behind. Would be a peach though if they could take a point off Valencia and stay way behind Atletico.

Edit: Yeah, just as I'm writing this a penalty for Valenvia :bangshead:
