What did he do?

Didn't substitute Krychowiak while he was getting treated by the medics, and that took 10+ minutes... enough for 2 pathetic Cristina goals.

I could understand playing without a striker, who cares, the defense would be secure. But risking to play without a defensive midfielder who also contributes at center defense, that's beyond me.

If anyone can pull it off, it's Sevilla at the Pizjuan!

I'm still not watching the game though just gonna monitor it from here, switched to Ligue1, less painfull.

Calma, calma
Come on, stop ganging up on Emery, this is ridiculous. He really didn't have much of a choice. Krychowiak is an absolutely crucial player and his dressing took up longer than usual. How is Emery supposed to have anticipated that? Credit to Real Madrid for capitalizing so brilliantly. It's not like there are a lot of games where teams pound their man-down opponents with 2 goals in 2 min.

By the way, who takes 10+ minutes to stop a nose from bleeding? It has to be one of the ridiculously things I've seen.

I guess Perez gave the 'thumbs down' to the medical staff from the stands

Krycho was definitely important for the tactics, but 10+ minutes are just way too much to wait a player in these kind of matches.
