But the likes of Leicester City , Queens Park Rangers and Burnley would easily compete for the cl spot in La liga.

Exactly. In the Premier League, 20th place can easily compete with 1st.

It's what makes the league so amazing to watch. No other league has upsets. Ever.

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid could face transfer bans

Spanish champions Atletico Madrid and Champions League winners Real Madrid could face transfer bans akin to the one that was slapped on Catalan club FC Barcelona just a few months ago.

According to Mundo Deportivo, a case was brought to FIFA’s knowledge by a third party and an investigation was immediately launched into the matter to establish the facts.

It now appears that a number of deals for youngsters brought to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu did not meet the parameters set forth by the footballing parent body.

Both Madrid clubs could be fined or banned from making transfers

The newspaper also reports that should Los Blancos be found guilty their punishment could range from a monetary fine which will limit the club’s signings or a complete transfer embargo over an unspecified number of transfer windows.

Real’s neighbors Atletico are also under investigation, although at a different level. Los Rojiblancos are under investigation for going against the FIFA rules for transferring of young players to feeder clubs.

A decision on both clubs is set to be announced at the end of the month. Should a decision go against the clubs they can go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport for lodging appeals.
