Beautiful goal by Morata. Why the fuck did he cut off all his hair, though? Looks like a Polish criminal.

So Cr playing the full game again. If he doesn't do anything against Dortmund it will be that pesky knee again :VdB:

People are saying this since Christmas

It's quite interesting though how Simeone does not favor rotations and besides maximum 1-2 changes in the formation (very rarely), he always fields the same players. It has been like that since the Supercopa duels against Barca.

They have been successfully competing now in La Liga (1st - ongoing), Copa (semi-final), CHL (quarter-finals - ongoing). All with less to no rotation at all. It is one of these two: a) great physical preparation or b) doping :p ... only hats off to them.

They booed him when they were 3 vs 1 and he was selfish and didnt pass.
I think it was more cause of the last two games though. Thats what happens if you believe in your own hype.

Good result. :thumbsup2:

Puts the pressure back on the chokers from the other side of Madrid now.

No it doesn't. Our win put pressure on them.

Next week is huge in the title race, realistically it is the last round where Madrid could drop points. If they win at the Anoeta they will almost certainly finish on 94 points. AM play at home but they face Villarrael. If they clinch 3 points then really it comes down to the Valencia away game for them, unless Levante do us a favour but I don't see it happening.

Based on our results away from home this year I think it's safe to say all our remaining away games are potential banana skins. We could drop points at Granada and Elche and even Bilbao at home. I hope I'm wrong but we may need Sociedad to do us a favour and someone has to step up and stop the Athletico train too.

They wont get 94 but even if they did we also need 94 to be champions, 6 wins 1 draw will do. Baating Espanyol is a huge step. We just need to keep our game on a high level and beat everyone, hopefully we will only need a draw vs Atletico to win it.
I feel Atletico will eventually drop out but I also thought they would drop points yesterday, we shall see.

Villarreal's form is not good, drawing against Elche at home today. I just hope our match against them comes quickly.

There's a real joker officiating the GRA-LEV match. First points to the spot kick for a clear handball, changes his mind after the LEV players had a word with him. Few mins later, almost showed the wrong card for a foul. :p
