Anyone watch Valencia? They were utterly shit. Las Palmas would'a completed been deserved of the win. Even the commentator on Sky questioned whether Valencia were playing poor deliberately get Nuno fired. It's a shame, but they could seriously regress and lose their stars if they don't act on this quickly.

From what I've read from a Valencia Fan Forum and other places they really don't like Nuno, and they hate Mendes influence on the Club. They go on about how Mendes keeps bringing in "Low Quality players" from the Portuguese League because He's the agent of these said players.

I have a friend from Valencia who basically says the same, especially about their tactics. If they're not careful, Gaya could be Madrid bound, Mustafi to Bayern, maybe Paco etc. come summer.

It'd be a shame, because it's great when the bigger teams thrive, and I thought once they got CL they'd kick on. The other side of that is that the race for 4th is incredibly open now that Valencia, Sevilla, and to a lesser extent, Sociedad, are all struggling. Villarreal or Celta could end up taking it yet.

Also, Malaga....such a sad sight. The great Malaga project that were robbed a CL semi-final place a few years back, to potential relegation candidates. I watched a little, Charles was unlucky a couple of times I thought, but man, it's a really sorry state of affairs what they've become.

In Malaga's case Abdullah Al Thani the owner Stopped pumping money into the Team after Pellegrini left and having Issues with UEFA due to Debt.

It was pretty much down hill since then they sold Isco and various other players and don't spend a lot in the transfer Market. They did okay a season ago finishing 9th but it seems like they won't be able to repeat that.

No shit. The money they got for Darder was laughable. Not to mention Camacho's injured now too, I can't see him sticking round much longer (though, I'm not sure where he'd go, most teams in La Liga are stacked in his spot).

A six point lead is nice at this point, but there are dozens left to play for. League's far from decided. We should be happy, no doubt. But let us not yet celebrate.

Atletico can thank their luck for even being top 5. They've been utterly disappointing in the majority of their games so far.
