ATM looks almost errorless in their defending...so much discipline plus great GK, while we tend to fuck up over Busi or Alves.

Not impossible, but harder than beating rm, imo. Since we beat them 1-2, Simeone improved his side again. Defensive juggernaut.

barca also improved from then, and now they have arda in the squad :)

Meh...They are gonna run themselves to tue ground. They are running like nuts so we will see where they are at in march.

well, simeone is rotating players, atletico has so many options in attack this season.

Its because you usually cant scrape wins like that troughout a season. Its a very risky strategy where it can easily backfire and you drop points.

The thing is, one cannot know if the team will stop scraping wins and start dropping points, or stop scraping wins and improve and start dominating matches. It's easy t think they will run out of steam, but it is possible that they actually gain momentum.

Last season, we had a great defensive record at the start of the season, and we were lucky too, and then we improved and started steamrolling teams.

Is this the same Atleti who won a title decider at Camp Nou in 2014 and knocked Barca out the CL the same season?

It used to be the other way around. Before Simeone they'd roll over to Real for years yet perform better against Barca.

It's worse in Barcelona. Espanyol are absolutely embarrassing against Real but are very competitive against Barca.

Last year it was the other way around, looking completely average against any above average side, except for against Real Madrid, of course, back to their best in these matches. I just found it really strange.
