They both changed though. In the past Messi and Ronaldo scored a similair amount of pointless goals.
Messi stopped caring about goals, he doesnt push for hattricks anymore but is decisive when he needs to be.
With Ronaldo its the opposite, he isnt as decisive as he used to be when it matters and goes even more all out to pad his stats vs weak teams.

Totally. Outside of Villareal away, we don't have any tough away games left. I also think we will win in San Sebastian quite clearly this season.

That was never remotely the case. Sure Messi scored lots of pointless goals (as is the case with all great goalscorers in history) but nowhere near the degree that CR7 did and still does.

Villeareal was lucky to save a point against asspanyol and also in previous game. Their level has dropped, hopefully they can get their mojo back soon.

He did, there was a graph about a while back. Difference was and still Messi didnt chase it like Ronaldo.

No it was actually true, I did the research myself a while back and I'm obviously very biased towards Messi. If you have the time you can go through each season and wikipedia and collect the data. Using something like this is the easiest way to do it.

This was from some point in 2013 I think. When I originally ran through all the goals they came out identical to each other...I did from 2009 to 2013 I think. In the last 2 seasons things may have changed ( they certainly have this season )
