And speaking of González González...

When I saw he would be the ref in Granada vs. Espanyol game from yesterday, I realized that the away side would benefit of it. González González gave two harsh yellow cards to Granada's David Barral and the home team were forced to play with 10 men for around 60-65 minutes.

And yet, Espanyol weren't good enough to actually take advantage of it as they struggled to create chances on their own.
The away side manage to take 1 point from Nuevo Los Cármenes thanks to a very unlucky own-goal after an deflection.

Espanyol have only 5 points down to the relegation zone atm.
And considering their remaining fixtures in the League, I think they'll be relegated

I think that was Ayza Gamez, they suspended him for a month or send him down t segunda for giving Cristiano a red card against bilbao.
What the hell happened to him anyway, cant recall seeing him ref another game in recent times?

Yes, it was Ayza Gamez in that game. He was then send down to Segunda and retired at the end of 2013/14 season.
