The club is also part-owned by Pep Guardiola's brother Pere and 4 City players are currently on loan at Girona. They are like a City B team lol.

Only one of them are playing though. The rest either been out of squad or bench warming.

Sevilla and Villarreal won today plus Atletico's draw, so far so good today. Las palmas will surrender to Valencia easily though.

Now compare them to the other club from Catalonia! Bastards play us like it's a WC final and bend over for the royal club!!

Well, it is a derby that is based on ethnic and ideological differences so it is bound to get hot. Under their new manager espanyol actually has become better in terms of not being so dirty at least.

Las Palmas playing with a lot of intensity and pressuring Valencia nicely. Will probably get punished on the counter again soon.

I thought these things didn't matter to Cules, hence why there wasn't one before the last Clasico for Real's CWC. Guess they do after all

Maybe Barca would have done a pasillo for Reals CWC win, if Ronaldo hadn't demanded it. He just wanted to embarrass and provoke Barca fans. You would never hear something like that demanded by Raul or Iker, that's the reason why they are respected by Cules, and the reason why Cristiano never will be.

I agree. Derbies are meant to give the teams extra motivation and desire to win.

That said, Espanyol are pathetic otherwise. Girona have shown more desire and winning mentality this season than Espanyol have for a decade, if not throughout their history and existence.
