I feel we can win La Liga this year if we just grind away results against the teams outside the top 4. As long as we keep our shit together against relegation fodder we can afford to lose against our direct title rivals and still win the league handily. Titles are not won by winning El Clasicos, but rather grinding away that gritty 1-0 away win on a sunny afternoon at Malaga.

Not really. Ronaldo would have more likely sent that free kick to sky.
And with ronaldo the team is actually playing with 10 players in build up play. So, it is illogical to automatically assume the same amount of chances would be created with Ronaldo too. (By the way, we also have our own version of Cristiano in the name of Suarez, who can't even pass the bass and the team is basically 10 players with him. He can contribute to pressuring the opponent though).

Totally agree. Just look at Tito's Barca in 2013. Won La Liga but we were noticeably weaker than RM and other top teams that year.
